Tread light trepid foot leaps for gnarled trees feel,
Sightless feet skip dark sucker mud slip Eels,
Fingers tensed to trip unknown wing heels,
Racing air invades the heart skipping keel-
Twig break silence weevils click beneath feet,
“Grounds too tall can’t squash us all we eat eat”,
Breath in the neck wind rattle threats to the peak,
Ghosts don’t play with Fawkes they pray to night-
Steam shoulder breeches the hill’s curving sky,
A new cloud gasps above the punched metal rise,
Huddled drops caught mid twinkle as rube-eyes,
Dripped salt fountain crystals of sprinkled lives.
Fireworks rain on lambs in a golden grill.
Fire works to pause the breathless pumping pulse.
Fresh light lungs drink.
Light lungs drink.
